The main character of the film is Stewart, who is 34 and plays the role of a technologically advanced buoy in the ocean. She calls herself Me and, eventually Deja.
The second main character is Yeun, 41, who is a satellite orbiting the planet and becomes Lam and later Liam.
Love Me is written and directed by married duo Sam and Andy Zuchero. The movie questions the nature of life in a world where no life exists.

The story shows Deja and Liam existing side by side as cartoonish avatars creating a life together in the digital realm only to become real-life representations of a happy couple that once existed in the human world.
