Kartin Aaryan shared a heart melting post for Murlikant Petkar congratulating him on winning the highest sports honour, the Arjuna Award.
We have seen Kartin play the role of Murlikant Petkar in the movie Chandu Champion. Kartik took to Instagram and posted a photo in respect for Murlikant Petkar. The caption of the post read:

Petkar, who was conferred with Padma Shri two years back, was chosen for the Arjuna Award along with 16 other para-athletes.
Petkar was a boxer in the Indian Army, having had to switch to swimming after the 1965 India-Pakistan war left him paralyzed from the waist down. His remarkable journey was towards winning the first-ever medal in the event of freestyle swimming for India in the Paralympics at Heidelberg, Germany in 1972.
The movie titled; “Chandu Champion” which is under the production of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films was out in June of the year 2024. The cine also starred Vjay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, and Rajpal Yadav in steamy characters.

Petkar, who claimed the top spot in the 50m freestyle swimming competition at the 1972 Heidelberg Paralympics was portrayed by Aaryan in Chandu Champion, a sports drama film released in 2024 by Kabir Khan.
