Recently Keerthy Suresh made her debut in Bollywood as a female lead alongside Varun Dhawan in Kalees’s Baby John. Baby John is based on the Tamil blockbuster Thalapathy Vijay starrer Theri. Keerthy Suresh got so much praise and love for the movie Baby John. Her performance in movie was truly eye-pleasing.
Samantha originally played the female lead in Tamil version Theri. Keerthy Suresh and Samantha Prabhu shared a close bond, and when Kalees’s asked Samantha , ‘who would be a best fit as for female lead in Baby John”. Samantha instantly suggest Keerthy’s name for Baby John.
Keerthy reveals Samantha suggested her name for Baby John
In a recent interview, Keerthy told interviewer that Samantha suggested her name for Baby John. She further said, Samantha had my name in her mind; I am so grateful of her for suggesting my name to the director.
Keerthy idolize Samantha’s performance so much, and she is one of her favourites acteress. When Keerthy given the role of female lead she was so supprised and scared at the same time. Also, Samantha shared a stroy on Instagram and said, ‘I wouldn’t have shared this one with anyone else, but you.’
Moreover, Baby John was released on 25 Nov 2025, and till date it approximate earnings is Rs 30 crores.
