Akshay Kumar & Veer Pahariya starrer Sky Force is making headlines since makers have dropped the trailer.
Is Sky Force Based On True Story?
Fans alledge that Sky Force is based on a real incident of India launched its first-ever airstrike on Pakistan after Pak’s multiple attack on Indian airbase. The trailer shows an airstrike by India on a Pakistan airbase and Veer Pahariya’s aircraft went missing after he get shot by enemy. The trailer resembles to the 1965 incident in which Pakistan attacked on several base in India including Adampur, Halwara, and Pathankot.
In order to avenge Pak’s attack India planned an airstrike on Pakistan’s Sargodha base which was one the most guarded base in Pakistan. During the mission, Squadron Leader Ajjamada Devayya’s aircraft shot by enemy jet and went missing. Indian Aif Force did multiple attempts to find the Squadron Leader but after some year, Govt presumed him dead. In 1988, he was posthumously awarded Maha Vir Chakra.
One more important point to notice, India first air strike was also titled as Operation: ‘Sky Force’, may be the movie name came from the original title of operation.

Who Plays What In Sky Force?
According to the reports, Akshay will seen in role of Group Captain OP Taneja. Veer playing the role of Squadron Leader Ajjamada Devayya’s. Sara Ali Khan playing his wife. However, actors is not using the real name of the officers.
Sky Force director Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani said Skyforce is a gripping story inspired by true events of 1965 deadliest war-like situation between India and Pakistan in 1965.
Sky Force is not just a movie, it is an epic tale of bravery follows the sacrifice of a real-hero and a unyielding quest for the truth.
Sky Force will hit the theaters on 24 January 2025.
