Kareena Kapoor Khan will be gracing the 25th edition of the IIFA Awards, taking place in March of this year.
Fans are excited. The actress will honor her grandfather, the filmmaker Raj Kapoor.
When Kareena was asked by the media about her performance she joyfully replied:
“I’m thrilled to celebrate Indian Cinema’s global success in Jaipur. It’s been years since I last stepped on the IIFA stage.
What better time than for their Silver Jubilee Edition? Both IIFA and I have traveled a parallel path. We are celebrating 25 years together in cinema.”
The actress said, “This performance is close to my heart. It pays tribute to my legendary grandfather, Raj Kapoor. His 100th birth anniversary was recently celebrated across the country with much love.” “It’s surreal to connect these dots. I’m part of this celebration of legacy, family, and the power of cinema.”
IIFA Awards is happening this year on March 8 and 9, 2025, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Last year, the Kapoor family went to Delhi ahead of Raj Kapoor’s birth centenary on December 14, 2024.

The Kapoor clan went to invite the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to the Raj Kapoor Film Festival. It honors the filmmaker’s legacy in the Hindi film industry.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in The Buckingham Murders and Singham Again in 2024. We await further updates on upcoming projects.
This is not the first time Kareena Kapoor has performed for IIFA. We have seen her for many years performing energetically on the IIFA stage.
