The much-anticipated movie Pushpa 2: The Rule Reloaded, featuring Allu Arjun, premiered in theaters on January 17, 2025. The filmmakers added 20 minutes of extra footage.
Allu Arjun confirmed that this extended version is now showing in theatres, with the production company, Mythri Movie Makers, offering in both Telugu and Hindi.
He shared a special poster and expressed, “We’re bringing you the reloaded version of Pushpa 2. I hope you all have a new experience watching this one.”
Mythri Movie Makers, the company that made Pushpa 2, confirmed that they’ve sent the new version of the movie to theatres. They also said this new version will replace the old Hindi and Telugu versions. They made a post about it online.
How do the Added Scenes Impact the Story in Pushpa 2?
The deleted scenes in Pushpa 2 greatly improved the storyline in terms of its context and the clarity of the plots, especially involving Pushpa operations and the associated link to Japan.
Important deleted scenes in Pushpa 2 have appeared in the extended version, which explains the story and the reasons behind the characters’ actions.

1. Media Revelation:
A scene reveals that the media has reported that SP Bhavar Singh Shekhawat has seized the real Red Sandalwood, causing panic among the syndicate. This triggered a meeting at which Pushpa was questioned about the movement of the goods. Shekawat then called Konda reddy to give him Extra! tonn of Real Red Sandalwood, so that he can mix those with the fake one which he seized.
2. Pushpa’s Reasoning:
Pushpa clarifies to the syndicate members that it is safe, and Shekhawat lies. However, the members requested proof and a location of goods, which he was not so willing to let them know.
3. Jakka Reddy’s Purpose:
Pushpa shares the address of the location of the goods with Jakka Reddy, aware of the fact that Shekhawat may take the goods if he were to tell him.

In the deleted version, a police investigation takes place with no results; the police could not find the goods. Suspecting something fishy, Shekhawat asks his team to check one suspicious container and finds Hamid and Jakka Reddy in pursuit of each other.

Pushpa prepares a container filled with essentials and red sandalwood to send to Japan, indicating his involvement in the smuggling operation. This sets up further conflict in the narrative.
The dramatic exposure of Pushpa and Hiroshi to the lack of financial communication explains how it jeopardizes their respective relationship and also business transactions, which is core to the action of the drama.
6. Jolly Reddy Encounter:
Another key scene would be Pushpa negotiating with Jolly Reddy; he gives Jolly Reddy two options: he will kill him or he will be his ally, which sets future conflicts.

However, this RELOADED version does not make any sign of changes to the ending of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Is Fahadh Faasil (Shekhawat) Dead?
A scene shows that SP Bhavar Singh Shekhawat seized all the red sandalwood and called the media in excitement, but later got to know that real sandalwood was already shipped to the destination. The Shekawat made a plan to burn all the fake sandalwood so that no one would ever find that he had lost to Pushpa. His male ego got hurt and he decided to suicide in the fire that he lit himself.
What to Expect in Pushpa 3- The Rampage
In Pushpa 3, we can see several key developments that can be expected, based on the extended version of Pushpa 2.
- In Pushpa 3, it will be shown that he directly deals with Japan, which shows a significant expansion of his operations.
- The relationship between Pushpa and other characters, especially Hiroshi, will change. Pushpa will establish a more direct and possibly confrontational relationship with Hiroshi, focusing on ensuring that payments are received before any goods (Red Sandalwood) are shipped.
- Pushpa’s stakes will increase as he continues with the complications of international smuggling. The story would expand on all the loose ends left at the end of the previous films, such as Pushpa’s ascension into the underworld as a powerful figure.
In Pushpa 2, the ending was spine-chilling. Pushpa 2 ended with a bomb blast, in which we saw Pushpa’s whole family die, including his parents, his wife, and his expected child. So, there are high chance that we see Pushpa’s avenge in Pushpa 3.
There is so much to be unfolded like who was behind the bomb blast, is it Jolly Reddy, Jakka Reddy, or someone else? Pushpa is in full rage, and Pushpa 3 will be a furious blockbuster.
All in all, Pushpa 3 will be a great sequel in which much action, drama, and development of character as Pushpa encounters new challenges on his quest for power and recognition.
