Salman Khan’s new movie “Sikandar” teaser which was expected to release today at 11:00 AM on the occasion of Salman Khan’s Birthday, got delayed due to Ex-Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s demise.
The celebrated director made this decision along with the producer Sajid Nadiadwala and his company Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in honor of the former prime minister who contributed substantially to making India a hub of production, economically.
The promotions of the movie included many milestones; including the teaser of Sikandar which was awaited to raise the spirit of Salman Khan fans eagerly on his birthday.
But when the nation is grieving the death of Manmohan Singh the makers decided to advance the release time by one day out of respect. The entire crew of the film equally condemned the sad demise of Manmohan Singh and offered condolences to the family as well as to the nation, he still holds a legacy in the country and is very influential in the nation’s progress.
The audience was expecting a brief look at the teaser of the film, but the producers informed the audience that the teaser would be released at a later date when the country would have recovered from the incident.
