On the eve of Hrithik Roshan, Netflix released the trailer for ‘The Roshans: Hearts United’ a three-part documentary about three generations of Bollywood’s Roshan family. The project is directed by Shashi Ranjan and produced with Rakesh Roshan who shows how the family contributed to the Indian film industry starting right from the 1950s.
This project is definitely worth watching as we get to see all the generations sharing the screen together. It’s a true delight to the eyes. And watching the trailer, we know where Hrithik got his Greek God personality from!
Roshan’s sons Rakesh Roshan, an actor turned film director who directed popular films like Krrish, and Rajesh Roshan, a music director who composed music for the movie Kaho Naa… A father (composing the iconic song “Pyaar Hai”), and son (the leading man of “War”), as well as grandson, tracing the influence of the family on the often-discussed Indian cinema via music, direction, and performances.
Other known people in the industry such as director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and legendary star Shah Rukh Khan speak on how Rakesh Roshan motivated him during the shooting of the blockbuster “Karan Arjun.”
